Family Support Center Greeter:
Description: Our volunteers are vital to help ensure members of our community receive the support they need. If you have a few hours during the week, you can help contribute to our cause. The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is looking for individuals to serve as a greeter to individuals coming into our family support centers. The volunteer will help individuals with questions about the programs offered at the family support center and provide directions to the on-site program’s location.
Food Pantry Volunteer:
Description: The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is looking for individuals to help distribute food to recipients at the Family support center. The volunteer will also help individuals with questions about the programs offered at the family support center and provide directions to the on-site program’s location.
Diaper Bank Volunteer:
Description: The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is looking for individuals to assist in the distribution of diapers to recipients at the Family support center. The volunteer will also help individuals with questions about the programs offered at the family support center and provide directions to the on-site program’s location.
Room Cleaning Volunteer:
Description: The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is looking for individuals to help clear and clean rooms at our Family Support Centers. Volunteers will sort boxes and discard trash to make the rooms ready for painting and use in our various programs. Bring a group of friends, family members, or co-workers and volunteer today!

Description: Our volunteers are vital to help ensure members of our community secure economic self-reliance. If you have a few hours during the week, you can help contribute to our cause. The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is looking for individuals to help provide computer training to seniors in our community. The volunteer will demonstrate and assist community members in using their computer to navigate the internet and various internet applications/webpages. Additionally, you will help seniors use their cellphones to support their internet literacy. The goal of this program is to equip members of the community with critical technology skills in the modern world. Volunteers will have curriculums before the events so you can prepare for the class.
Budget Planning Tutor:
Description: The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is looking for individuals to help provide budget and financial literacy training to seniors in our community. The volunteer will teach and demonstrate creating budget plans and banking basics to community members. The goal of this program is to help individuals gain important financial life skills and financial literacy. Volunteers will have curriculums before the events so you can prepare for the class.
