On Monday, March 11, the House Majority Policy Committee convened a hearing to discuss affordable housing, hosted by Rep. Abigail Salisbury (D-Allegheny). Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh President & CEO Carlos T. Carter testified on the importance of affordable, safe, quality housing for the communities we serve. Members heard from community leaders, housing advocates and redevelopment organizations testifying about the need to address blight and increase affordable housing options across Pennsylvania. The hearing took place at the Rankin Croatian Home, 263 4th Ave, Rankin, PA 15104.
