DUQUESNE FAMILY SUPPORT HOLDS GRAND REOPENING WITH A VISIT FROM SANTA

On Tuesday, December 19, The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh will reopen the Duquesne Family Support Center in Duquesne, PA. The grand reopening will showcase the Family Support Center services. The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh’s Duquesne Family Support Center provides a food bank, a diaper bank, transportation services, and other community support services. Santa Claus will hand out toys donated by Amazon. There will be barbers available to provide free haircuts. Caricaturist Jack Puglisi will draw Christmas-themed caricatures, and Beanie’s Paints will be on site for face painting.

There will be light refreshments from Roxanne’s Catering.

Family Growth and Child Development Director Juan Perez said, “Through teamwork in a caring environment, we assist in empowering Center participants and the community.”

Carlos T. Carter, President & CEO of the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh, will be at the event, which will take place from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on the property of One Library Place.
