Pittsburgh appears to have been the site of one of the earliest Urban League Sundays with references as far back as 1924, just after the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh’s founding in 1918.

Faith partners provide strength, guidance, and inspiration—helping individuals and families find hope, resilience, and purpose as they navigate life’s challenges.
Through shared efforts, communities gain access to valuable resources, including financial education, employment opportunities, and pathways to economic stability and growth.
Urban League Sunday highlights a commitment to justice, advocacy, and community responsiveness—ensuring that social issues are addressed with compassion, awareness, and collective action.
