The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh announced longstanding board member Andrea Clark Smith as its board chair and welcomed new board members, Bridgette N. CofieldYvette Henry and Sally Wiggin. Ms. Smith is associate chief legal officer and senior vice president employment law, labor relations and physician contracting, UPMC enterprise; Ms. Cofield is chief of staff to the president and the secretary to the board of trustees at Carlow University as well as chief executive officer and principal consultant of Cofield and Associates, LLC.; Ms. Henry is the vice president, Global Sourcing, Kennametal; and Ms. Wiggin retired from WTAE-TV.

Awards and Honors

First Commonwealth Bank has achieved the ranking of number one SBA lender, of dollars lent, in the Pittsburgh District for the federal fiscal year that completed on Sept. 30. The Pittsburgh SBA District encompasses 27 counties in Western Pennsylvania.

Comcast was recognized with the Pennsylvania Municipal League’s annual Community Partnership Award during an awards ceremony held in conjunction with the association’s Municipal Leadership Summit in Pittsburgh. A national company with a continued emphasis on investment in the municipalities they serve, Comcast is a member of The League’s Business Leaders Network.
