The Duquesne Family Support Center serves residents of Duquesne, West Mifflin and other neighboring communities with a range of resources, services, and activities to help them connect, learn, and grow.

Core Family Support Services

Across all three of our Family Support Centers, we have core services including:

Diaper Bank

Available twice a month.

Family Fun Nights

Families can enjoy this event throughout the year four times a month.

Transportation

This includes transportation to appointments, school, interviews, and the food bank.

Resources

Access to resources for employment, case management, family development specialists, and agencies.

Services Catered to the Duquesne Community

In addition to our core Family Support Services, the Duquesne center offers services that are uniquely tailored to the needs of Duquesne and the surrounding neighborhoods we service.

Support and Recreational Services at Our Duquesne Center

Our Duquesne Center offers a range of services such as:

  • Exercise and Health activities
  • Duquesne Community Partnership
  • Sewing and Quilt Making Classes
  • General Mental Health Counseling (Family Services of Western PA)
  • Duquesne Light CAP Program

Parenting Classes and Additional Family Support Services at the Center

We also provide a range of parenting classes and other services at our Duquesne Center to assist families, including:

  • Child Development Classes for Men Involved with Families (parenting classes)
  • Nurturing Program (parenting classes)
  • Parenting Leadership/Parent Council
  • Recreational Family Activities
