Urban League Sunday

On the second Sunday in February, many affiliates of the National Urban League celebrate with their religious partners in recognition of the common goals that are shared in providing spiritual, economic and socially responsive leadership to the community.

Pittsburgh appears to have been the site of one of the earliest Urban League Sundays with references as far back as 1924, just after the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh’s founding in 1918.
